Technical Administrator (FTTP Network Delivery)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent (Hybrid Working)
Salary / Package - Upto £40,000 with private health, bonus
We're looking for an experienced Technical Administrator to become a key part of the Network Delivery team, supporting the successful rollout of high-speed FTTP infrastructure across the UK.
This is far more than an administration role.
You'll sit at the heart of the delivery operation, bringing commercial savvy while working alongside Programme Managers, Commercial teams and Delivery Partners to ensure projects run efficiently, data remains accurate, commercial processes are maintained and network build programmes stay on track.
If you've worked within FTTP delivery, understand Openreach PIA, have experience using Vitruvi, then this could a solid option, on a permanent basis and with hybrid working - you might be in the Stoke area perhaps 1-2 days per week.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting multiple FTTP build programmes from mobilisation through to completion.
- Managing and maintaining project information within Vitruvi and Salesforce.
- Supporting commercial processes including purchase orders, valuations, contractor applications and invoice validation.
- Coordinating project documentation, ensuring all technical records are accurate and audit-ready.
- Monitoring programme progress, milestones, KPIs and delivery performance.
- Liaising with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and delivery partners to keep projects moving.
- Assisting with cost tracking, reporting and resolving project issues before they become blockers.
- Supporting continuous improvements across project delivery processes.
What we're looking for
- Experience within FTTP or fibre network delivery.
- Commercial awareness, with an understanding of quantity surveying or commercial administration processes, including reviewing build costs, BOMs, and contractor submissions.
- Strong understanding of Openreach PIA processes.
- SA001 & SA002 accreditation a bonus but we're happy with recent experience working within PIA environments.
- Previous experience using Vitruvi.
- Experience within project administration, technical administration or programme coordination.
- Compliance management and ability to have some QA and commercial understanding as to what is right / wrong.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
Desirable
- NEC3 or NEC4 contract knowledge.
- Commercial or quantity surveying administration experience - CEMAR useful but not essential
- Knowledge of NRSWA / Streetworks.
- Experience within utilities, telecoms or infrastructure delivery.
